Rowena has been described by family and friends as a barefoot gypsy with an inspirational spirit. She constantly seeks knowledge and loves to share that knowledge with others.
She started writing at a young age and had won her first writing award in her twenties. Although writing fiction is her passion, she has written and published numerous technical books for Microsoft and Osborne/McGraw-Hill.
Rowena believes that artwork is a reflection of Spirit. When artwork is observed, it inspires, invokes emotion, and speaks to a part of you with reverence and clarity that no words can muster. Her art career started with designing book covers, logos, marketing material, and pet portraits. Today, she tries to tell a story with her art and aims to inspire others to see a larger picture of possibilities. She enjoys designing tattoos, and symbols that invoke hope, strength, and faith.
She and her husband, Gregg, owned a natural medical clinic in WA, where she helped people heal through the power of herbs. She also specialized in Massage Therapy for Injury Recovery. After breaking both legs in a car accident, Rowena learned the power of proper therapy for injury recovery. It took a year of therapy before she could walk again. That journey sparked a desire in her to learn all she could about injuries and their impact on the body. Empowering people to heal themselves is a passion that has never faded.
