Having over 40 years of experience with the publishing industry, I have enjoyed helping small publishers and authors prepare books for publication. Book cover designs are something that most people do not consider when publishing a book. There is, however, a science to creating the right design to attract the right audience for a book. As they say, “A picture speaks a thousand words.”

Typesetting

Typesetting is an art and a science. The words must flow over the page without distracting the reader. It must look appealing, yet functional. The format must work for printed works as well as electronic format. Font choice, size, and layout make the book more appealing and enjoyable all around.

Cost of Typesetting Services

I charge $1.00 per typeset page. The first round of edits is free, afterward, the charge is $.50 per edit. For custom layouts, I charge a $100 setup fee.
